Santa Monica

Ok, so technically Santa Monica is it's own city (and it's one heck of a cool city at that), but I've grouped it with my LA pics. During the Vietnam Film Symposium, Jeannette took us (Philip, Lan the Vietnamese film critic, Giang the Vietnamese film director, Philip the director of the Singapore Film Festival, and me the guy with the big camera) to check out Venice Beach and Santa Monica for an afternoon. After checking out the big muscles at Venice Beach, we ate some Italian food to recharge before having a look at Santa Monica's eclectic variety of street performers.
