Jeonju

Home to Korea's second largest film festival (which is what brought me to this lovely little city), Jeonju is a very pleasant small Korean city with plenty of big city amenities that puts on one of the best film festivals I've attended. I served at JIFF 2008 as a jury member of the NETPAC jury, and in between my hectic movie viewing schedule (the life of a juror is tough... watching movies all day long is not for the feint of heart... and yes, I'd gladly do it again in a heartbeat!) I managed to get out and walk around the central part of the town to snap a few pictures, none of which can really capture the quaintness and atmosphere that makes this one the best cities I've visited thus far in Korea.
