Jogja Feet

One thing that stood out to me more than anything while cruising the streets of Malioboro, Jogja's main shopping and hangout district, was the number of bare feet protruding from just about every place you looked. While most of these feet belonged to pedicab drivers taking a nap in the seats of their pedicabs, there were innumerable other pairs of feet belonging to all sorts of different people, most of them napping in rather unconventional (for me at least) places. Sometimes I couldn't even see who the feet belonged to because the rest of the body was hidden behind some obstruction or other. At any rate, I found the Jogja (or perhaps I should say the Malioboro) feet phenomenon to be quite fascinating and I decided to snap off a handful of pictures of some of the more interesting feet I ran into (sometimes quite literally).
