Aerial Shots

I'm sure every single passenger on the plane except me was thoroughly annoyed when we had to circle for about 20 minutes on our descent into Jogja's airport because of air traffic delays, but after about 10 minutes I snapped out of my daze and realized what a great chance it was to snap off a few pictures (even though typically I don't bother taking pictures from plane windows). On the outskirts of Jogja there is an active volcano, and many more volcanos that can be seen off in the distance (add this to the earthquake that rocked Jogja a few years ago and you've got one hell of an exciting place to live). At any rate, flying in over Java from Bali was quite an impressive view, quite different from how I had imagined the landscape of Indonesia's main island would be.
