South Jakarta

On my last day in Jakarta, I slapped on my 70-200 lens and a little sunscreen and set out from my friend Irwansyah's apartment to explore his neighborhood in South Jakarta. I don't know the exact names of the neighborhoods I passed through, but according to Irwansyah South Jakarta is known for its slums and ghettos and is not a very upscale part of town. So I knew I was going to love this area. And since I didn't bother bringing any other lenses with me, it was nice to just focus on taking shots of people in the little alleys and markets I passed on my two hour walk through some unknown little part of South Jakarta.
