Harbor Life

This harbor was evidently built and used by the Dutch for several hundred years during their colonization of Indonesia, but now it doesn't seem to be quite as busy as it probably was in its heyday. But that didn't diminish its charm in any way. In fact it probably increased it, as the harbor life was still everywhere to be seen, and it seemed that some of the old men I saw sitting around enjoying the end of a long day's hard work quite possibly had known few other places than the streets and boats of this harbor most of their lives.
