Bali

So after hearing about Bali for years and years I finally got to check out its beautiful beaches, its warm hospitality, and its frantic nightlife for myself. Unfortunately it seems I went to all the wrong beaches, met all the wrong people, and didn't get out enough at night, because in the end Bali fell far short of my expectations. Then again I was there 'working'. But even on the few extra days I had there to explore a bit of the island, the 'magic of Bali' failed to put me under its spell. However, it is a big island and I saw very little of it, and my time was limited and I really had little chance to experience what is on offer. So I'm willing to give it another chance in the future. For now I'll suffice it to say that Bali was "interesting."
