Yunnan

They say that if you can only go to one place in China, it should be Yunnan. Well, I don't know who 'they' are, but they seem to be pretty wise, because China's southwestern province of Yunnan pretty much has it all. From majestic mountains to minorities, jungles to gorges, urban sprawl to quaint little backpacker towns, there's plenty to be found in this province. In my six or seven trips here, I've only managed to scratch the surface of all there is to see. But seeing as how this is one of my favorite places in China, I hope to be making plenty of trips back in the near future.
