Yao's Wedding

I was able to attend the wedding of my friend Yaoyao in Shanghai on March 13, 2010 (March 13 just happens to be my parent's anniversary) on the way back from finishing a whirlwind tour of Asia for a commercial shoot. The only problem was that I didn't have any nice clothes or shoes with me, so I had to borrow a suit from Yaoyao's friend, and somehow managed to find a pair of dress shoes big enough to fit me at the local department store the day of the wedding. I also didn't have my camera with me, which wasn't a big deal because they had already hired a photographer and videographer, but Will (the groom) was nice enough to let me borrow his camera and two lenses so I would have something to do throughout the day since I didn't know anyone there and would have felt a little awkward without a camera in my hand. Trying my best to stay out of the way of the hired guns, I just tried to get some behind-the-scenes photos of the happenings throughout the day, mostly at the two separate tea ceremonies with the families of the bride and groom. It was a lovely wedding, even if my crazy pictures don't necessarily prove that!
